Ok Ok I know I am not good at keeping this thing updated. It has been quite a while since I last updated so I decided to do a few collages to make it short and sweet. 

Garet was promoted to 1LT on 17 Sept 2012.

The end of August beginning of Sept we stopped at New Orleans on our way to San Antonio. 

We went to the WW2 museum in NOLA and in Texas we went to Fredericksburg and stayed at the 

Hangar Hotel, it was so much fun! 

I had to throw in a picture of Tucker the dog and Shari at the computer, she couldn't figure out how to turn the picture on the computer so she decided to just turn the computer. When she heard my flash she looked over and this was the face I got!!! CLASSIC!!!!

We took a trip to Pensacola, FL for a weekend and climbed the lighthouse on NAS Pensacola. It was fun!!

We also drove to Mobile, AL while we were down there and toured the USS Alabama Battleship and the USS Drum Submarine. I honestly don't know how they survived on the battleship or the submarine.

 It was an amazing experience.

Back in May I believe we went to Atlanta. We went to Medieval Times which was a lot of fun.

 I highly recommend doing it at least once for the experience.

We also flew in a 1929 Standard Biplane over Atlanta, it was all open cock pit and wow what a ride. 

We also stopped at The Andersonville National Historic Site in Georgia. It preserves the former Camp Sumper, a Confederate prisoner-of-war camp during the Civil War. It is also the museum for POWs. 

Talk about a very humbling experience. I recommend you check out the website!!

Crawdad Music Festival

We went to the Crawdad Music Festival in Ozark, AL its one of the cities right next to us.

We have never had Crawfish before so we thought we'd go try it out and experience the South!

Crawfish are like a mini lobster. Good but takes a lot of effort.

Family Day 4/6/2012

OK I know I am not good at this whole blog thing so forgive me.

Garet started primary which is the flying part

of flight school the end of Feb beginning of March.

He has waited 28 years (yes he's getting old)

to actually sit in the pilot seat of an aircraft and fly.

Below are a few pictures of this extremely good looking pilot in training!!

This is my handsome husband and his books he has to read and some memorize,

and this is only the beginning of flight school, not including the Apache course.

5 AMAZING YEARS!!!

We were in Texas for our 5 year anniversary.

We ended up going to Sea World for free which was so fun!!

After Sea World we went back to Garets parents house,

changed and headed downtown San Antonio.

Yes we both got kids meals for our lunch to save room for our delicious dinner!

For our night out we went to Fogo De Chao,

a brazilian restaurant. It is kind of like Rodizio Grill in Utah,

anyway we decided to get a dessert and they guy asked if we were

celebrating anything so Garet told him it was our 5 yr anniversary.

They brought out this yummy dessert and on the edge of the plate it said

Happy Anniversary in strawberry syrup.

Than to top it off they gave it to us for free!!!

After our amazing dinner we walked around the River Walk,

the Alamo and than Garet surprised me and took me on a carriage ride

around San Antonio in the Cinderella carriage!!!

I have the best husband a girl could ask for!!

Christmas in Fredericksburg Texas

We had the chance to go to San Antonio for Christmas. I have some pics but I don't really want to post anymore than this. It was a great year and a sentimental one.

Garets sister Barb left on the 28 of Dec to serve a mission and Dalton Garets brother is in Basic Training right now and will hopefully be leaving in July for a mission, so it was one of the last ones we will all be together for a while.
